In 1968, Peggy Gaffney got her first Samoyed — a six-week-old puppy who would go on to become a multi-award winning show dog. Her partnership with the puppy Ron, launched the beginning of more than five decades in the world of breeding, training, and showing Samoyeds. Wins include the 1971 National Specialty BISS, going Best in Show at the International Show in Mexico City, and at the same time becoming the first Samoyed, to win Best in Show in Mexico. Peggy’s life has been shaped by generations of intelligent, spirited dogs.
